In our practice, we place great value on thorough diagnostics as the basis for successful treatment. That is why we usually begin with a careful anamnesis, during which we take the time to record your complaints and symptoms precisely. We also pay attention to accompanying circumstances and individual factors such as previous illnesses or lifestyle habits that may be relevant for diagnosis and therapy.

We then carry out a detailed physical examination in which we precisely localize and analyze the affected areas of the musculoskeletal system and any effects on the entire organism. We also use special tests and examination methods to obtain the most precise assessment of the complaints possible.

If the physical examination does not produce a clear diagnosis, we may use further diagnostic equipment. We use the most modern methods that enable us to more precisely narrow down possible causes and diagnoses. For example, we use ultrasound to display the structures of the musculoskeletal system or electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity measurement (NCG) to measure the functionality of nerves and muscles. Duplex and Doppler sonography to visualize the arteries and veins as well as all laboratory values from all specialist areas can also be used for further diagnostics.

Our goal is to give you a precise diagnosis and thus create the basis for effective and targeted therapy. Because only if the cause of the symptoms is precisely identified and understood can we guarantee successful treatment and restore your health in the long term.
