Ultrasound therapy

Ultrasound therapy is a non-invasive diagnostic method used in orthopedics and sports medicine to visualize the structures of the musculoskeletal system. With the help of high-frequency sound waves, changes in joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments can be made visible.

In our practice, we use ultrasound as part of our comprehensive orthopedic diagnostics. The affected body segment is placed on a special couch and a transducer moistened with gel is placed on the affected area. The transducer emits ultrasound waves that are reflected by the tissues and displayed as an image on a monitor in real time. This allows changes such as swelling, inflammation or tears to be precisely localized and assessed.

Ultrasound is a gentle and painless diagnostic method that does not involve radiation exposure. The examination can be carried out quickly and can be carried out directly in our practice. The images obtained are very detailed and can be discussed with you directly.

We use ultrasound as an important part of diagnosis and therapy. Through a precise diagnosis, we can make a tailored therapy recommendation and thus help you to achieve a full recovery as quickly as possible.
